Tunerless Dvr How Do Dvd Recorders Work?

How do dvd recorders work? - tunerless dvr

Hello, I have questions about how a DVD recorder?
I think it a VCR / DVD recorder drive of my mother for Christmas.

1) Did you use to pay a monthly fee, I know Comcast DVR service, but $ 10 a month, so I wanted something that did not do that in order to pay monthly.

2) When recording on a normal DVD (not rewritable), you can create a program to see and so for the record, then the recording on the DVD until full? or something of registration, the fact that the DVD? For this reason, it makes more sense to spend money on DVD-RW, and if so, how often can record on DVD-RW?

3) The main objective is to be recording TV on DVD, the recorder tunerless a Comcast cable box, but not for digital cable high-definition image can tor you can use to use the tuner to TV recording?

4) You can watch a program while recording another?

5) If I can use a standalone DVD recorder to record the recorder and VHS tapes can be connected to a DVD?

no monthly fees

2) When recording on a normal DVD (not rewritable), you can create a program to see and so for the record, then the recording on the DVD until full? or something of registration, the fact that the DVD? For this reason, "it is better to spend money on DVD-RW, and if so, how many times you can access DVD-RW?

Get a CD-RW, if you repeatedly recognized, if you have something to keep forever to get DVD-R like. VHS job.

3) The main objective is to record TV on DVD, the recorder is a tunerless Comcast cable box, but is used for high-definition digital cable, the picture as a signal receiver to be used use for TV recording?

You need the receiver as a tuner

4) You can watch a program while recording another?

5) If I can use a standalone DVD recorder to record the recorder and VHS tapes can be connected to a DVD?

1: No charge for using a DVD recorder, it is yours.
2: You can have multiple programs at different times on a single DVD-R to save (or + R), is full to the hard drive. R are much cheaper than the RW (0.20 to 1.00), which allow many RW instead of a few rupees. are also cheaper than cassettes and different speeds, so you have more time or higher quality.
If you do not like you can hide the fact that on the disc recorded. Using a DVD recorder like a VCR, but it is better (you can make title)
3. my DVD recorder only has RCA inputs, so that you can not HD, I use a box to digital cable.
Field would be nice.
4. No, I could not. if you are using your cable TV signal.
5. I think yes, I do not use video, "signals that block the record." Unlike a VCR, the record is not capable of anything on television. Movies tend to block signals in the case where the player has refused to register them.

In my opinion, a DVD is well worth it. enjoy!
